Planned launch prices: MYR for Malaysia and USD internationally. Your app store determines regional eligibility, the final currency, price and taxes. Purchases will be available through the app stores. Cloud Family renews monthly or annually until cancelled through your store.
Included family participation
Share a tree. Keep control.
Invited relatives with a linked tree profile can join without buying a plan. Without a linked profile, their own active Cloud Family subscription is required to view it. You pay for the tree’s cloud storage and choose each person’s permissions. Each email/account can link to one profile per tree, and each profile can belong to one invitee.
View and edit their own profile
Invitees with a linked profile can view the shared tree and photos for free. Link their existing profile and allow them to update their own details and photo. No personal subscription is needed.
Propose changes for children and spouse
If you allow it, they can submit profile or photo changes for their children and spouse without subscribing. You approve each request before it changes the shared tree. Parents and other relatives are outside this free request scope.
Wider access needs both
Their own active Cloud Family subscription plus your explicit permission are needed for requests about parents or other profiles, direct edits to other profiles, or co-owner status. Paying alone never grants editing rights.
The original owner stays in control
Only the original owner can add/remove people, change relationships, manage members and invitations, or approve requests. Co-owners keep their assigned permissions; they do not become administrators. Invitees cannot change the original owner’s profile or photo.
Connection, scope and plan details
Invitees sign in through the app and need an online connection to edit or send requests. The original owner’s Cloud Family subscription must be active. Invitations do not give Local Plus benefits or cloud storage for the invitee’s own trees, and a member’s subscription does not increase the shared tree’s allowance.
Child/spouse permissions follow recorded parent and partner links, including former partners. The owner can limit or revoke access. When an invitee’s own subscription expires, wider access stops; permitted self edits and child/spouse requests can remain. Private supporting records remain owner-only.
